Tina Bear’s Journey with Language and Culture

This podcast, we welcomed Tina Bear. Tina discussed a little about her personal life. From growing up in Neqotkuk (Tobique First Nation) and attending school in a not so great learning environment. She pursued more education in her later years with the ups and downs of learning Wolastoqey latuwewakon (language). Throughout this podcast, Tina was very focused on the main concerns of youth, with teaching and guidance. She also shared tips and advice towards learning, which she’s very passionate about. Tina also shares stories about the history of Neqotkuk, paranormal stories, stories of our own and much more!
